Help Your Community Stay Covered

Maternal and Child Health Access (MCHA) invites you to our first Coverage Champion Training, part of Keep L.A. Covered, a countywide public awareness campaign helping Los Angeles County Medi-Cal enrollees stay covered.

Medi-Cal is changing, and families need clear information from people they know and trust. Coverage Champions are community partners and messengers who share accurate information and connect people to trusted resources and support.

During this training, you will learn how to:
• Explain upcoming Medi-Cal changes to enrollees, including new eligibility requirements and more frequent renewals.
• Help enrollees understand the actions they may need to take to keep their coverage.
• Use the Coverage Champion Toolkit to share simple, consistent, multilingual messages with the people you serve.
• Connect enrollees to renewal and enrollment assistance, including directing additional questions or complex cases to appropriate support.
